Vozport — Terms of Use

1. Acceptance and who we are

These terms are an agreement between you and 68.216.024 Victor Rosa Lima (MEI), Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 68.216.024/0001-16, address Rua João Antônio Morato do Amaral, 225, Santa Rita, Piracicaba/SP, CEP 13423-258, Brazil ("we"), the provider of Vozport. By using the app you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app with the permission of a parent or guardian.

2. The service

Vozport recognises speech, translates it and speaks the translation (or shows it as text) using artificial intelligence, between the languages available in the app. It requires an internet connection and no account. Each spoken segment is limited to 60 seconds (longer speech is split automatically) and each typed text to 500 characters.

3. Free plan

Without a subscription you can use 25 free phrases in total — not per day, and they do not renew. Each translation (spoken or typed) and each voice generated by our server (for example "test voice", or replaying a translation whose audio is no longer on the device) counts as one phrase; if no speech is detected or an error occurs, the phrase is given back. Free phrases are counted per anonymous ID and per device, so reinstalling the app does not reset them. With "Help improve the AI" turned on you get 28. There is also a daily limit of free phrases per network (IP address) against automated abuse. We may change or end the free plan for new users.

4. Subscription, free trial and renewal

• Two plans: weekly and monthly, both renewing automatically. In Brazil they cost R$ 24.99 per week and R$ 49.99 per month; in other countries, the local price shown in the store before you confirm, which always prevails.
• The weekly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers (once per Apple ID or Google account). If you don't cancel, the weekly subscription starts automatically when the trial ends and is charged every week. The monthly plan has no trial and is charged at purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase (or when the trial ends) and at each renewal, at the price in force, which the store will tell you about before any increase, as its rules require.
• Cancel at any time in your store account's subscription settings (or in the app: Settings › Subscription › Manage subscription) at least 24 hours before the renewal; access continues until the end of the period already paid. Cancelling during the trial at least 24 hours before it ends means you are not charged.
• The subscription belongs to your store account, not to the device: on a new device, use "Restore purchases".
• Refunds follow Apple's and Google's policies, without prejudice to your consumer rights.

5. Fair use

To keep the service sustainable there are daily limits (currently 500 translations per day for subscribers and 150 during the trial; 10% more with "Help improve the AI") and per-minute limits against abuse. Automated use, resale, scraping, reverse engineering, attempts to bypass limits and illegal use are not allowed.

6. Your content and other people

You are responsible for what you say or type. Tell the people you talk to that the conversation is being translated by an app and that their voice is sent for processing, and do not use the app to record people without their knowledge where the law forbids it. Only turn on "Help improve the AI" if the people recorded agree.

7. Translations may contain errors

Automatic translations can contain errors, omissions or inappropriate wording. Do not rely on the app for medical, legal or safety emergencies, or where a mistake could cause harm — use a professional interpreter or emergency services.

8. Licence and intellectual property

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app. The app, its brand and code belong to us or our licensors. You may freely use the translations you obtain.

9. Availability

We work to keep the service available, but it depends on third parties (AI providers, stores, hosting) and may be interrupted or changed.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting consumer rights that cannot be waived, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of translations.

11. Suspension

We may limit or suspend access in case of abuse or breach of these terms, without affecting your rights regarding a subscription already paid.

12. Additional terms for Apple devices

• These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
• Your licence is limited to using the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules of the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for maintenance and support of the app; Apple has no obligation to provide them.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app (including product liability, failure to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims) and for any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app (for example, your mobile data plan).
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated in the app or on this page.

14. Law

These terms are governed by Brazilian law; consumers may use the courts of their domicile.
